Guys i am building a pc for my brother, he bought a fx 6350 and 8 gigs of ram 6 months ago..but due to shortage of money back then ,he couldnt get a decent gpu ...however now he has saved enough and wants me to get a grfx card for his gig..needless to say he is gonna use it for gaming...he however, doesnt have too high demands...like playing at ULTRA or getting AT LEAST 60 fps...he will be happy to get a decent 30 fps on HIGH settings in the upcoming games like Division or Quantum Break ...etc etc...now his budget is 23k INR..and i can get him a gtx 760 ..r9 280x...or stretch a LITTLE bit to get a 770....but this possibility of bottlenecking worries me...his cpu is not quite high end...so should i go for 770/r9 280x or settle with a 760, because m afraid a 6350( at stock ) will might possibly hold back a 770

Yes. It's ranked NO. 22 in benchmark and will give you the performance you are looking for. As to say, some games you MAY have to tweak the setting a bit for it to run on high. I take back my statment the the 760 will last you 2 years. I was exaggerating a bit :D ,It will not play games on high such as Division because that games is online and it would require higher specs for online play. So 280 or 280x wouldn't be a bad idea...That will really last you 2 years or so.

A 6350 will not bottleneck a 770/280x. And right now, the gtx 970 is priced very similarly to the 770 (in the US), but offers much better performance. That shouldn't cause a bottleneck either. So if you can afford it, I'd definitely look at the 970, but the again I'm not sure how much it costs in your country.

@Shamar Holtz... You sure a gtx 760 can play all upcoming games with high settings with at least 30 fps?
@Greysonja...in my country a gtx 970 costs almost 7K more than a gtx 770..which is about a 100$..and a 6350 with a 970?? that will be balanceD??

then i will be going with r9 280x, however the real world benchmarks show the fps difference while playing with a gtx 760 and a r9 280x is barely 6-10?. Also which brand do u recommend? a lot of negative feedback on the r9 280x card...another thing i would like to know ..are the amd drivers good enough?? i have myself been using nvidia forever so i have no experience with amd gpus.
