Hi, i have ryzen 3700x with gtx 1060 right now, i was thinking to upgrade the gpu, 2070 super or 5700xt ( custom ) ? I see that amd takes more and more ground and with future updates maybe will surpass their rivals. I see from a lot of benchmarks that ryzen + 5700 xt are a pretty good coombo. I use pc for games. I have 16 gb 3200 mhz ram, ssd,msi gaming plus x570 motherboard, dark rockpro 4 cooler and seasonic gold + 650w psu.

Assuming you meant 2070super, as there is no 1070super? The 2070 will definitely outperform the 5700xt, but it also cost $100 or more extra. I don't really see the extra performance being worth the extra cash. Also what resolution are you playing on? Both of those cards are geared more towards 1440, and imo, would be way overkill for 1080.

I'd say go for the 5700xt, almost comparable performance and cheaper.

I have a GTX 1660 Ti and i plan to upgrade to RX 5700 XT (non custom), and the gtx 1660 TI performs just like a 1070. But in my opinion, if it fits on your budget, you should go after the 5700xt but i have seen that the drivers aren't really a stable thing but it's something that will be fixed in the future. Plus gtx 1070 are already getting out of stock, meaning that they have limited products (or that's what i see in some stores).

And with that PSU you're more than good to go.

Yes, i meant 2070 super, ty, i dont really care about a kind of Resolution i want to play high quality and 1080p ( dont really see the difference above that ) this is why im unsure, cause 2070 super perform slightly better on some games and thats all, but with my logic that with new updates might be better the 5070 xt. Since games were optimized for nvidia cards and intel cpus
