Which Graphic Card Should I Choose For Gaming ??

Hello Folks.

I'm in that position where my newly bought graphic card turns out, not to be functioning properly, so im looking to buy a new one since the existing graphic card is bought private.

I just need some advice.
Should i go for the £270,00 or £280,00

Both graphic cards, fit my motherboard perfectly.

Building a mid-stage gaming computer.

GTX 970, performance is close but will utilize less power, run cooler, and can use PhysX.

Comparing the two GPUs - http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GIGABYTE-GeForce-GTX-970-vs-ASUS-Radeon-R9-290X-Gaming - I'd recommend the GTX 970.

if getting the gigabyte make sure it will fit in your case--thats a very long card

3cm of space with the new GTX 970 card inserted is whats left in my chassis
I might have to remove the external harddrive slot that has been placed which isn't being used at all.
Should be an easy fit

I used http://gpuboss.com/gpus/MSI-GeForce-GTX-970-vs-EVGA-GeForce-GTX-970 to see which it should be. they both are pretty equal and he would prefer the MSI.
