Which Graphics card is better?

i am buying a PC from a shop, they have a up-gradable graphics card option which one of these cards is the best? and also which is the cheapest and the best option.

It will be used for pretty much gaming probs 90% the build has a i5 4460, 8 gigs of ram, 550 watt power supply, the motherboard has integrated graphics but i would like an actual card. i am willing to spend maybe around 150 on the card maybe 200 maybe. and as for the prices for each card i am not sure they range from 100-250? i think i haven't checked them all, but most of them.

the gtx 750 ti would be on the lower end of your budget, still a good gamer.


with your specs ideally you should also be looking at a gtx 960 2gb, very nice performance

from those the best option for low budget will be a GTX 750 ti 2gb and if you can go high you should go for GTX 970 4gb . if your budget hang in between those two you should definitely get a GTX 960 2gb which would be best for about high to ultra 1080p gaming,without anti-aliasing.

these are best three choices from those for all types of budget.

if your budget is below 750 ti get a gtx 730 2gb ddr5 .

but i wont advice buying anything below gtx 750 ti as it would not allow you play most modern games at playable fps so if you have low budget save some bucks and get at least a gtx 750 ti.

its your choice both are great cards but i would prefer gtx 960 as amd has high tdp and produces lots of heat .

But both are more powerful than gtx 750 ti and older gtx 660 which is still more powerful than gtx 750t ti.

gtx 960 will give you more fps in games than r9 270x leave that it is on par with r9 280 in most benchmarks and beats r9 285 in amd optimized battlefield 4 by being 15% more powerful ..read this

and if these are out of budget you could get gtx 750 ti it is also a good gaming card .

The R9 285/380 is mostly better than the 960. I've seen games with 10fps difference, and those were with older drivers.

For that price range grab the 2gb 760 but I would suggest spending a little more and getting the 970 if you can. The 760 will outperform the 750 ti by far and the 970 will outperform the 760 by far just choose whichever fits your budget best and dont spend extra for more vram on the lower end cards.
