Hi,

So here's my specs again -
CPU = AMD FX-8300
Mainboard = GA-78LMT-USB3.0 ver6.0
Chipset = AMD 780G

Currently I am using Nvidia GeForce GT610 2048MB DDR3 which is giving some problems like restarting whenever I try watching movies on VLC, maybe render some flash content on the browser. I don't know why that's happening.

I don't have any fascination for Nvidia as such, whichever works with this mobo and cpu will be good.

Solution
That's what i have, except i dont have restarting issue, i solved it by installing the AMD SATA Controller driver which , before installing, i could not let my hard drfive and SSD function properly in SATA/AHCI mode. This caused BSODs when restarting. If you left IDE mode as default then you should copy the driver to your system32/drivers and reboot into BIOS and select AHCI. This should fix it. Also if you have throttling, i had with apm on and c6 states, disable them, and c1e if you can, you can leave cnq on.

Other than that, from the AMD side, definitely the RX 470 4GB plays up to 1440p/60fps perfectly on youtube and even 4K 30/60 video and records and plays most games, so i would recommend it- get the 8 gig RX 480 for more...
