They are ALL great cards and very close in performance. I'm deciding between a Strix and G1 Gaming myself. Honestly, I think the difference might be around 3fps between the cards with the Gigabyte being better (which isn't much), so I'd just pick whichever you think looks best and whichever one has more features you like. But as a performance stand point, the difference between the 3 are almost negligible. Price and aesthetics are probably the biggest difference. Hope this helps!
I think the G1 overclocks better?
Also take into consideration, the Asus and MSI cards have a feature that turns off the fan at idle, the Gigabyte doesnt have this. Maybe you want to color code your build? Anyway, you cant really go wrong.
Just choose the one that has the longest warranty with good customer service, that way you'll know that you have a reliable manufacturer to back you up when you have issues with it. That's how I ended up with Asus when I was choosing brands for my 295x2, it was between Sapphire and Asus for me, Asus had 3 year warranty while Sapphire had 2, plus I have never heard of Sapphire. So I chose Asus because they're well known for making GPUs with really good customer service. Luckily I did, lol, I heard Sapphire has some weird issues with their cards that you'd have to down clock your GPU to have it working. So that would be the "best" GPU you can get

Bought the MSI GTX 970 recently, loving the card. Silent has hell both during idle (fans turned off) and intense gaming. For me (considering it's the cheapest where I am at) it was a no-brainer to pick it.
By the way, it doesn't have a backplate but is still freaking good looking!
