hi guys i am building a new pc. after sqeezing cash here and there i am able to get a gtx1070. but now i still have a small prob. dk which to get

after reasearxh i found the EVGA gtx1070 FTW hybrid and Gigabyte gtx1070 Xtreme gaming to be the best 2 ones. so pls help me choose the better one of these 2 as i rly cant find benchmarks of the hybrid so i wanna know if the watercooling rly help that much and if overclocking performs btr on the hybrid

if u think another 1070 is btr pls also inform me as i may missed a few cards. (all i care abt is the cards able to perform and OC, i dun care abt noise and such, i ahve a 650w psu so power shld be an issue either)

thx

fps is almost identical with EVERY 1070 on the market. the cheaper ones net the same in game fps as those expensive ones. an evga sc will give just as much as the ftw and use a lot less power in the process. "best" really comes down to price and the one that looks good to you. not a single card has outperformed any other by more than 1-2 fps. boost 3.0 will oc EVERY card as much as it can and generally well past out of the box clock speeds. so the amp or xtreme card may be clocked higher out of the box, the evga SC or gigabyte G1 will boost just as high and get the same fps.

look for price and looks and that is the "best" one for you. here is a list of the all with specs to compare with. not the big difference in sizes and power...
define best?

EVGA has the best support
the Zotac AMP! Extreme is the fastest
Palit Gamerock / Gainward Phoenix are the best bang for the buck
the Gigabyte Xtreme is the biggest card I think

overclocking is a bit limited due to Pascal's design, I don't think a watercooler really helps much

oh is the zotac amp! extreme faster than xtreme gaming?
but amp extreme have only boost clock to 1835 while xtrem gaming have boost clock to 1874?

and by best i mean faster/best fps in games

reviews are linked if you wish to read them. or you can take my word for it since i have read them all and many more myself. there is literally no fps difference between the cards. noise and temps will differ for sure so that may be a consideration for you. but pure fps, it's a massive tie
