Hey guys, i got 2 hdd's i can't choose from for gaming.
I have a 120 GB SSD for my windows drive but it's clearly not enough space since i have +150 steam games.

Here are the 2 hdd's:

The Seagate one has 7200 RPM and 32MB cache and is 500 GB.
The Toshiba one has 7278 RPM and 16MB cache and is 500 GB.

So my question is, is the 78 rpm worth the sacrifice of 16 MB cache?
Or should i get the seagate one with 32MB cache.

BY THE WAY I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PRICE RIGHT NOW, I ONLY USED NEWEGG FOR COMPARISON SINCE IM FROM DENMARK.
And yes i am using a laptop.

Thanks.-

As for reliability, here are the failure rates for the major manufacturers over th alast 6 months with the previous 6 months in parenthesis:

http://www.hardware.fr/articles/954-6/disques-durs.html

Seagate 0,72% (contre 0,69%)
Toshiba 0,80% (contre 1,15%)
Western 1,04% (contre 1,03%)
HGST 1,13% (contre 0,60%)

We haven't installed a HD in almost 7 years .... here's why:

http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/hdd-charts-2013/-17-PCMark-7-Gaming,2915.html
Seagate SSHD = 9.76 MB/s
Seagate Barrcuda = 6.56
WD Black = 6.34
WD Blue = 4.01

500 GB ($55)

1000 GB ($69)...
I'm presuming you are using a laptop then? Out of those two the Seagate seems much better spec, though. The reliability of these drives, I'm not so sure of.

Another possibility you could have is to get a 3.5 inch HDD enclosure and use a 7200 rpm desktop drive (3.5 inch) in it, if you have USB 3.0 ports then it may end up being better.
