Which HDD should i choose?

I've been wanting to upgrade my PC storage. I want to get the WD blue 3 TB but i just found out that it's a 5400rpm HDD. Is it worth it? Or can you guys give me a suggestion on what HDD i should get? Should i go for a 7200rpm HDD instead? Im going to use it mainly for gaming. Thanks. I would love to listen to you guys suggestion.

If you are going to use it for gaming. You will definitely want 7200RPM. It will decrease load times. While none of them will come close to an SSD. The Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM008 should do better than most.

I heard bad thing about Seagate HDD, so im kinda sceptical about buying a seagate HDD. Is the bad thing true or is it only affect a litte group of people?

If you want really low failure rates look at HGST (Hitachi) Ultrastar.
