Could i know which i7 processor model supports the motherboard Gigabyte Z97-D3H-CF? And also would like to know, what will be the increase in benchmark, as well overall PC speed in terms of consuming less RAM while using multiple softwares at once?
Am a professional designer, and also into music production, Softwares i use are:
Adobe photoshop
Adobe illustrator
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Dreamweaver
Adobe Indesign
Corel Draw
FL Studio (Important plugins for creating own sound, which does eats up more RAM)
Further looking to use:
Ableton
Cubase
DJ softwares
Current PC config is (from Speccy):
- Intel i5 4440 @ 3.10 GHZ - Haswell 22nm technology
- 16 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666 Mhz RAM (9-9-9-24) (8 GB X 2 RAM)
- Gigabyte Z97-D3H-CF (Socket 0)
- ATI AMD Radeon R7 Series (Sapphire) - 2GB
I would still want to go for higher configuration, so to have work going on without any lag on both design and music, on the PC, but when i have the budget ready. If you could please suggest an 'monster/beast' CPU with i7 (not sure what is above this) with high RAM and others, it would be helpful, so i can go for it next, say down the line within 6 months.
