What software is it? Anyone actually knows or it is a deeply guarded company secret likes ones Google do? Their banners looks awesome on Steam publisher sales, I do want to know how they do that no curved, sharp cornered boxes where text in them, like ones "Publisher Sale" "Summer Sale". I do hope it isnt adobe software, they literally asking for my credit card info just to download the trial version.

Show us a screencap of exactly what you're looking at.

Given a skilled person, many things can be done with free or low cost software.
GIMP, Inkscape.
PaintShop Pro.

What the Adobe environment brings is compatibility across multiple teams, tools, and workflows.
ex: seamlessly include a banner from Photoshop into a video in Premier.

Hey man, thanks for fast reply, I just watched a youtube tutorial and I think I found the ways to do it, it seems there is a website named "Photopea" for these tasks, basically copy paste adobe photoshop as far as I see on the GUI.

The picture I meant no longer exists because it appears on Steam store only when Sony does their publisher sale so I dont think I can show it to you. Banner image includes game related text such as %75 off of God of War for example and other few games they did bring from playstation to Windows/PC (after making us wait like years of course!)

I will continue to watch some tutorials about photopea as it looks quite same just like photoshop so "adobe photoshop only" type of tutorials should be the ones I looking for,

I will post here the results if I manage to do that awesome looking text boxes, I got FED UP with curved corners these days like iphone'ish so I'm looking to do old school sharp corners
