Which is Best Upgrade For Me

My PC specs are

Motherboard - Intel DG31PR
Processor - Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 @2.0 GHz , L2 cache 1 MB
RAM - Dynet 3 GB DDR2 667 MHz
GPU - Biostar 9400 gt 1GB DDR2
PSU - Intex 450W


I want to upgrade my GPU because I'm getting low FPS in GTA IV in high settings.
I want above 25 FPS with high settings and 1400 x 900 resolution or low.
My budget is $ 40 or 2000 INR (Indian Ruppees)

Which GPU should I buy?

honestly, even with the highest of GPUs that game is questionable in regards to FPS. its a horrible port from consol to PC, not at all optimised, and its rather CPU intensive. to be hoenst, i dont think a massive increase in GPU would benefit you much because you would still have your dual 2.0 CPU.

im sorry, but i dont think it would benefit much without getting more then jsut a GPU

You should get 6670 or 7750 if your mobo supports pci-e (I really dont know for that mobo). 7750 much over 6670.
But theyr over 40$

You should get 6670 or 7750 if your mobo supports pci-e (I really dont know for that mobo). 7750 much over 6670.

increase your budget and get gt 630 @rs 3800.

anything less than this is bad for gaming

Toms hardware tested that ''bad optimised game''. It ended that if you incrase setting you would raise FPS and if you raise it more it would lower it. Just facepalm.

YOu need a new Processor, new ram, new GPU, and a motherboard that supports it all... otherwise your goal is out of reach. Sorry for being blunt and honest

cause you are running DDR2. its old. and much slower then DDR3. If you get a new CPU, you will msot likely need a new mobo that supports that CPU, and it will most likely not support legacy DDR2 ram.

i have intel E5300 with 4GB DDR3 and ATi 4670 1GB and never problem for most new games.like mass effect 3 ..Black Ops 2
