[SOLVED] Which is better, 5700XT or 2070 super?

I was going to go with the 2070 super because I had the impression that amd didn’t compete at that level, but I’ve watched some videos and it seems that the 5700xt is about the same for $100-$150 cheaper. Which is better?

I find Battlefield to be a pretty vendor-neutral game. Generally speaks for the multi-game average heirarchy.

It’s a tough choice. They perform the same in game benchmarks but the 5700XT has a lot of complaints for driver issues, suggest you Google this first. The 5700XT also runs hotter and uses more power, this isn’t a problem but something to consider especially if it means buying a new psu.

That’s closer than I’ve seen elsewhere. I guess it comes down to specific models.

I just swapped my 5700XT for a 2070S, 5700xt is plagued still by driver issues. you need to do a lot of troubleshooting to make it work FACT!!

its not worth the hassle IMHO, hours trying to make it work. a big combi of drivers, software and hardware issues with the AMD GPU products since mid 2019.

neaqrly a year now and AMD still cant be arsed!!, didn't want to bad had to move to 2070 super.

You could try the 5700XT and make sure if it doesn't work you return within return rma period. That's what I did and regret it.
just go for 2070 for saving time.. and avoiding doing countless DDUs, windows installs etc.

2070super works perfect 1st install. you pay a premium that's what you should expect
