which is better?? AMD A4-5000 or Intel Core i3 4010u in terms of gamming

amd a45000 with 4 gb ram and 1gb amd radeon hd 8670 vs intel core i3 4020u with 2 gb ram gb ram and 1gb and amd radeon hd 8670,which will have better performance for gamming and other tasks?

Both processors are on the same level, but the A8 performs a little better. The A8 can hold on to more recent information with its higher l2 cache, has 4 cores, has higher base speed, and overclocks further than the i3. On the other hand. the Core i3 is more energy efficient, is hyperthreaded, and offers more performance per core.

Actually i'm asking about the new A4-5000 quad core. Not A8. Would be great if you could tell me about that. Thank you.

Oh, I'm terribly sorry about that. I get a little cross eyed when I read something from a monitor. Well, it's still a quad core CPU running, but at a base clock of 1.5 ghz. Thing is, it can only bring real power when the CPU's getting busy, and at that level it only rivals the i3 3277M(which is somewhat weaker than the i3 4010U). Honestly, I wouldn't really recommend it for gaming unless you're on a really tight budget. You'd be much better off on gaming with the dual core i3.
