Which is better for 1080p 3gb or 4gb

The 3gb gtx 1060 came out (I think) I want to know if it's good to run most games at 1080p on max settings or if I should get the 4gb rx 480

I would pick the 1060

i personally would pick the RX 480 over the 1060 3 GB due to the VRAM being more DX 12 and vulkan being better as well

so more VRAM the more smoother the games run
