Question Which is better for the Price i5-8400 or i5-9400F

There is quite a large price difference between the two and i was wondering how better the i5 - 9400f is to warrent the larger price tag with a slower clock speed could someone advise which is better ?

You're comparing i5 9400F to i5 8400 (not i7 8700).
9400F costs less, because it has iGPU disabled. 8400 has iGPU fully functional.
