Which is better? G-Sync or IPS panel?

Which monitor is better? I have a gtx 1080 and it runs my games at 100+ fps most of the time. The games that I play the most are Dota 2, Overwatch and PUBG. Is is better to go with the 144hz with no G-Sync, thus costing less money or should I just go with the G-Sync monitor which is both more expensive and has a TN panel. Although it has a 1ms response time. I got 2 options for the IPS with no G-Sync monitors

Gsync is good to have for overwatch and pubg, dota doesn't care, what is your budget?

My budget is anything under 450 dollars. The G-Sync one is a little over my budget but I'm willing to push that extra 20 dollars if G-Sync is really that good
