Which is better, the i5-2520M or the i3-3120ME ?

My current CPU is an i5-2520M and it only has Intel HD 3000 iGPU.
I see that the i3-3120ME has Intel HD 4000 iGPU. Is it worth buying?

Please don't recommmend any CPU, I just want to know which is better from those two.

what do you wanna do with it?
the BIOS has to support it, if it´s not supporting the ivy bridge CPU, the motherboard will not post/boot
thanks a lot thinking about it too so sandy bridge the only cpu supported? btw what if i change whole motherboard buy a modern itx will my all in one pc work with it?> i mean atleast the monitor?

Yes, it's likely the CPU is soldered, so this rules out any CPU change. Getting a new mobo with either of those CPU's is not gonna do anything in terms of gaming performance, if that's what you are looking for. And the cost of which makes 0 (zero) sense.

TBH, if you want better gaming performance, you need to by more performant PC/laptop.

The HD3000/4000 are not good for gaming at all.
