If you had to buy one of the 2 the second one with the i5 is definitely the better gaming pc. Are you in Australia and open to other prebuilt pcs or building yourself?

Second build will game much better... switch to the board that is $70 cheaper... the board you picked is for over clocking and your CPU doesn't oc. First. Build has a top flight CPU, and a bottom run graphics card

By far the second one, but you'll get the best value from building yourself, not from prebuilts.

Obviously you need enough ram to run games but 8gb has kind of been the standard/ minimum amount for gaming pcs for a while now so you shouldn't see any issues with 8gb ram. Although upgrading to 16gb is really cheap and easy to do if you need it.

Do you have a budget? If you're just looking to spend as little as possible just get a cheap 1080p 24 inch monitor and a keyboard/ mouse combo from a brand like coolermaster.
