The GTX 1060 is better. However, I would opt for the RX 580 if budget is a concern. Has the same VRAM as the 1050 Ti, yet is slightly better than the 1060 overall.

The 580 is noticably better than the 1060 3gb and a tiny bit better than the 6gb version due to the less amount of cores on the 3gb version.
