[SOLVED] Which Is Better

Hi, I'm looking to build a new system. I'm able to buy a B550 motherboard for 100e second hand and a ryzen 7 3700x for around 250-300e, or I could buy a 12600k for 300e and a z690 mobo for 225e. Which one should I get as I can afford both? The only thing is I wont be able to afford a gpu if I go with intel, but I wasn't going to buy one unless I can get it at rrp, which I cant so what should I do?

Both are capable but the 12600K is the better CPU, you've got zero chance of getting a GPU for MSRP for the foreseeable future.

If you look at the Cinebench R23 results, the 12600K is quite a bit faster:

It will be faster in games as well.
