If you are going to overclock and don't mind taking a little risk you can remove the "lid" of the CPU and replace the Thermal material (Ivy 1155 and Haswell 1150 use very inferior material and get very hot) Personally I avoid Haswell, although more fun to overclock (not just one setting like ivy) I fear the on chip voltage regulation.
Easiest and cheapest solution is to buy a second hand Sandy Bridge 1155 CPU they are within a few percentage points in performance and you can get them cheap, plus they are rock solid. You don't really need the new on die GPU if you are gaming so all 1155/1150 CPU's are great, even the old 1366 can hold its own.
