Which is faster? Intel Celeron G1820 vs GT 710

specs: Intel Celeron G1820 @ 2.7 GHz / 8 GB DDR3 / Asus H81M-K / 500GB HDD / 250 watt PSU (unknown make & model)

location: Croatia

User has the above specs and is considering adding a GT 710. I'm wondering if his existing Celeron's HD graphics matches or exceeds the performance of the GT 710. Does anyone know?

A GT 710 would be a bit faster.

I put one in my old Media Center PC to allow it to stream 1080p content. (Without that card the playback would get a bit choppy.)

The gt 710 after doing some research will give you no added performance. According to what i could find it might actually end up giving you slightly worse performance.

Nowadays the gtx 1050 retails for the 750's price so you get even more performance for the same money and power consumption.
