Question Which is faster? Laptop MXM cards: GeForce GT 635M or GTX 750-Ti?

I believe the Nvidia GTX 750-Ti is 5.6x (17/3) times faster than the Nvidia GeForce GT 635M . I base this on a data base of popular components for specific computers (link ASUS K55VJ listing) where GeForce GT 635M runs at 3% of average and GTX 750-Ti runs at 17 % of average.

I want to find a second hand GTX 750Ti to switch out the installed GT 635M. Currently fps in a specific game is ca 17 (10-20). If fps increased 5.6 times ... Laptop is ASUS K55VJ .

I know the Nvidia GT 635m interchangeable, it is an so called "MXM" graphic card. Interface is "PCI Express x16 Bus".

You'd have to dismantle the 750Ti of it's cooling, io ports and find out how to incorporate. Not sure if possible but 750Ti being a desktop counterpart is stronger and would put out more heat too so the cooling better be good.

Ill be interested to see what others say.

Yes, cooling might be a problem.

Reading the linked page. The data base entry:
- is for a laptop ("ASUS K55VJ").
-5 people have done this (so it's possible)

I'm unclear what the card looks like exactly. I imagined there was an "MXM" laptop version of the 750Ti card that was referred to.

That thread talks about "750m or 950m " cards... Could 750m be an MXM version of 750-Ti...?
Anyway, problem defined by that thread: Card must fit (dimensions) and cooling for GPU and RAM must fit right.
