Which is the best gaming console to buy

I am planning to buy a gaming console. Which is the better option to go with?

Depends if you want to play halo, want to pay for xbox live gold and most importantly how many friends you have on each console to play with it

Hard to argue honestly. I enjoyed these two consoles more than anything in the current generation. lol

None of the above. Wait for the ps4. Right now both current gen consoles are overpriced especially the PS3 which has yet to drop below $250 (and is normally closer to $300). The 360 is no good either because even at $199 you have to tack on the extra cost for xbox live, although I have seen it for $99 with xbox live contract required. There is really no point in buying current gen anyway with next gen expected to be out by the end of 2013. If you must buy one now the PS3 has better exclusives, a free network, and better hardware. Personally, I wouldn't consider it good value at anything above $150 except maybe if it was a really good bundle package at $199.

the dreamcast can play both. and psx games

The wii thinks it's a linux box, It's really the biggest peace of garbage for gaming I use it for Netflix.

You must not be even aware that Wii has the best Resident Evil ports/games of the decade and great IP's such as Xenoblade Chronicles, No More Heroes, Okami, Madworld or Monster Hunter... just to name a few.
