For development you want an i7 processor and 8GB of RAM, I have 3 recommendations:

ASUS X750JA-DB71 Intel Core i7 4700HQ(2.40GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD 17.3" Notebook Windows 8 64-Bit

This is the biggest, with 17.3" @900p

TOSHIBA S55-A5358 Intel Core i7 4700MQ(2.40GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD 15.6" Notebook Windows 8

This one is an intermediate, with a smaller screen but @1080p

Note that none of these laptops have dedicated graphics, so don't expect much on their gaming performance (although they can run some games at lower settings).

Finally, the Lenovo Ideapad y410p, the 14" @900p version is the best one. The difference of these series is that they come with nvidia GTX 750m dedicated graphics so they are capable gaming...
