Depends on the tech in the drives themselves.
ie - recording technology (PMR, SMR, HAMR...), platter density, number of heads...
And you cant leave out how full the drive is either since that makes a huge difference as does any Reallocated Sectors since those are replaced sectors located in another area of the platter meaning the heads have to move to read that 1 sector and then move back wasting even more time...
In all - too many factors to say without knowing alot more. We could be looking at a 1TB drive from 2005 vs a brand new 500gb; who knows.
