I try to figure which one of my ram is dead and i need to place one of them somewhere but i dont know which material can damage it. Which one of these can damage my ram: plastic, wood, glass, paper? I dont have any of those antistatic bags and i dont know where i can buy them

I think you'll be fine with any of the listed choices. Just make sure that you only touch the ram sticks by the edges. [/b]http://www.wikihow.com/Avoid-Damaging-RAM-During-Installation < Here's a guide for a more in-depth instruction.

First release the two clips on either end by pressing them down, then pull the RAM out by holding on both sides. When inserting the new RAM make sure the notch on the RAM lines up with the corresponding tab in the slot (RAM will only go in one way). When you're sure that they both line up, press with moderate force on the sides till the locking clips on either side automatically lock. If it won't go in, make sure that the notch is correctly lining up with the tab.
