hey guys im transfering my current build over to a new case but i want to get a new motherboard because i think a mini-itx board will look weird in the case i want Thermaltake Versa C21 but i would like a motherboard that is compatable i just cant choose for about 100-120 AUD cheers

AMD A8 6600k
16 GB Ram
Mini-itx
1tb HDD
400 psu

has to have 5 fan headers and another one for cpu fan also has to be compatable with my case and everything else also and has to be a atx board cheers

According to thermaltake specifications:
Handy I/O Ports
The top-front panel is designed a USB 3.0 data transfer port along with two standard USB 2.0 ports and a LED controller, to grand direct access when needed. The Versa C21 RGB is also equipped with two fan speed controllers on the top-front panel. Each fan speed controller can control up to two fans.
So you don't need that many fan headers, or ?
Your 16gb ram is 2x8 ?
What model/make is your PSU ?

Well ram is fine, but PSU should be changed.
Also i am not sure u want to invest anything into that pc.
It would be hard to find FM2 socket *new*, for a reasonable price.
Maybe you should switch the Cpu+MB together honestly.
And this psu definitely should be changed, since its pretty low quality and already old.
What are you using this PC for ?

Gaming + school work if i should change mobo-cpu and psu what would you recommend im not looking to spend too much

Well if you are looking for the same 100-120 aud i am not sure you would find anything new.
Maybe some second hand haswell cpu+mb combo, where you would keep your RAM.
Else you would need to stretch your budget.
If you cant improve your budget currently, better save money and upgrade at a later time.

wait till kaby lake hits the market @ stable prices.
For around 400aud ull be able to get mobo + ram + cpu.
Like i3 7100 + 2x8g ram + atx motherboard.
Currently it would cost you over 400$.
If you can find second hand i5 + mobo haswell generation, it would be an upgrade too.
Cant offer you any alternative from AMD, since you will see better performance at around the same price, if not more expensive.
Don''t forget that you need to change your PSU.
If you find a way to sell ur ram + cpu and/or exchange em with adding $ for other parts then you have a choice of something like i5 7400 +h270 + 2x8gb ram, which would be a big improvement.

okay well for now until i have the money i might put my current build in the case which is (Thermaltake Versa C21)is it compatable like with the fans and controls with the case i can get a fan splitter if needed thx
