Hi, I plan on getting a gtx 1070 soon and have around £250 to spend on a monitor. I was thinking something along the lines of; https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00MCX4Q2G/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2Z2YZ9MTH2V1A&coliid=I2PA8D9TRJXWL4&psc=1

i currently have a 60hz 4ms Benq IPS monitor (i would use this as a second monitor if i buy a new one). Just wondering what my options are for monitors, im not sure how good the one i linked is either.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Rob

A lot of it is personal preference. I would say it depends a lot on what games you want to play. If you are doing a lot of competitive FPS and you really want to drive 144FPS then that monitor is a good choice. The GTX 1070 can drive those kind of frames at 1080p Ultra. But if you are going to be playing a lot of AAA single-player titles I personally would opt for a big 27" 60Hz 1440p monitor instead, which the 1070 can easily drive at 60 FPS on Ultra for many games.
