So I've been looking at a few monitors recently. I am in the market for a very nice gaming monitor, I want it to be an ultra wide, 34 inch - 40 inch, curved. I am looking for at-least 3440x1440, 4K would be pretty cool to, but is not required. I am looking for at least 100hz, and maybe some overlocking to 120hz or 144hz. It doesn't matter the brand, I have had good luck with LG but anything will do honestly. Currently I have been looking at

to be by number 1. I really like this monitor, the 35 inch is amazing.

Number 2:

Which of the two are better? Their specs look the same to me, reviews look good for both. I am also open to any other monitors. Thank you.

Well the ASUS monitor uses an IPS panel, which tend to have better response times and more accurate color reproduction than VA panels like that Acer monitor uses. However that asus monitor and pretty much all others that use that 3440x1440 100hz IPS panel are known for having QA issues, particularly backlight bleed.

So to sum it up if you get lucky and get one of those PG348Q's with little to no backlight bleed then I would rather have that. That said I would rather have a Z35P with no backlight bleed than a PG348Q with a ton of backlight bleed.
