My computer recently has been having a major blue screen issue. I took it to a computer repair shop after trying new ram, hard drive, all that and they think it's my mother board. It's a gaming computer I won't to be very long lasting. It's barely 2 years old. I have it on 24/7 for money making via games and my computer never gets hot. Here is the build I have currently with the supposed broken mother board: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fnzcXL Also I would like to note that I have no desire to over clock as I have never needed too.

The people at the shop recommended these two:

I don't care about apperances and a friend told me those charge more for flashy lights and that I should get this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?cm_re=msi_Z170-_-13-130-873-_-Product&Item=N82E16813130873

Which one should I get for the type of computer I have? One of these or a different one? I really have no idea and money really isn't an issue I just want to get something long lasting because I don't want to run into this issue again.(I'll make sure to get a warranty this time lol)

But is it worth it if I don't care about the lights and won't over clock? I'm the op just forgot the original info for my main account

No, it won't be worth it as much. That motherboard is very overclocking friendly, and has very decent VRM's (Power delivery to the CPU), aswell as other features you most likely won't need. If you don't plan to overclock ever, and have no interest in lighting whatsoever, you can definetely go to a cheaper motherboard without sacrificing useful features.

The thing is, the Maximus IX Hero isn't very lighting oriented. It's an all-round luxury motherboard, and will still be very good. Maybe I'm just a big fan of it, but it's an amazing motherboard without a doubt, and among the best in its priceclass, if not the best.

This would be my pick, if i didn't care about lighting over overclocking.
