Hello,
I used to run a built pc over an year ago until water fell on the z170a m7 and it died(don't ask). Hopefully the 6700k is fine. After a year I'm thinking about rebuilding it. But the problem is the money and research. I don't know which motherboard should I buy. The m7 had me completely satisfied but now I don't have the time to find out which motherboard I can buy for cheap with the lowest amount of compromise from the m7. I'm mostly going to be gaming and occasional photo editing. I might or might not overclock the cpu but what I was looking for as I mentioned above is the fluidity that I used to get on my cpu-mobo combination. My build includes a gtx 1070, 16 gb of ddr4, 240gb crucial ssd, 1tb wd blue, hx1200i, corsair h80i gt. Please suggest me a motherboard. I was actually confused over z270 pc mate and a few b250s. I just don't want to make the wrong choice and loose the speed.

As long as the motherboard supports that CPU your not going to lose any speed. The only big difference between the B250's and Z270's is the ability to overclock and if that's something that you eventually want to do then go with a Z270.
