Hello, so I ordered the G502 mouse and wondering which mouse pad to buy for it. I mainly play CS:GO and other FPS games such as GTA. I was looking at Razer Goliathus Speed and Control versions and from what I found out the control is better for CSGO, is this true? If not please tell me your professional opinion. I was also looking at Steelseries QCK+ version. The link is here

Also I found Razer Goliathu on Aliexpress and it looks different from the usual green Razer Goliathus, is there a difference between the two or not? Is it just the appearence or is it specifiactions? Please tell me.
Here is the link to the aliexpress one:

and this is the normal one:

Please be kind enough to answer all the questions,
Kind regards Voja
Edit: Also consider how long the mouse pad lasts and is it harmful to the G502 mouse.

I can't comment to the differences between the razer pad versions. I use a steelseries mass which is similar to their qck heavy, just a smaller version. The qck heavy would be similar to the qck+, same size except thicker/heavier (over twice the weight). Just my personal preference, in my experience thinner mouse pads have more of a tendency to curl while the heavier ones have more padding and no curling issue. They lay nice and flat. I don't play competitively but I tend to play more fps type games, halo, cod, farcry, crysis etc and the steelseries have a nice surface. Extremely slick/smooth.

My mouse takes a little 'nudge' to move it but only because I've got all the weights inside it. Similar to the g502 which has up to 18g of weight via the tuning system, mine uses 19.5g so would likely be similar by the time you factor in the base weight of the mice + tuning weights between the two.

The mousepad offered on aliexpress looks the same to me, just the difference between an actual photo of the silkscreened design and an enhanced graphically drawn version of the design image. Razer says the difference between the 'speed' and 'control' versions is the fabric. The speed uses a smoother fabric for less resistance, easier gliding of the mouse (turning your gun, firing at multiple targets). The control version uses a slightly rougher/textured surface that slows the mouse down for better control (think sniper shots in games).

None of them should be harmful to the mouse, they're all soft pads. Some gaming pads are hard and not really a 'pad' at all, just a very slick surface. I used to use one and it was nice enough but since it had no padding and was just a smooth/hard surface it wore the feet off my mouse after awhile. (The small raised bumps on the bottom of the mouse that it glides on wore flat so the whole bottom of the mouse was scraping). I went back to a soft mouse pad with cushion.

Hope that helps.
