I've been looking for a good drawing tablet to get to use Flash and Photoshop with. I'm not an expert, but I'm not quite a beginner. I've been using a mouse to do these things and it makes my arm and hand cramp up a lot. When I draw with a pencil and paper, I don't have this problem, which is why I'm looking at tablets. I've narrowed it down to three that are almost the same price and don't know which one to get, so I'd like your opinions and help.

The three tablets I'm looking at are:
Huion H610 Pro
Huion 1060 Pro+
Wacom Bamboo Splash CTL471

Any opinions are appreciated.

Alright, first off you have an excellent taste in cheap drawing tablets! I actually had the pleasure to use all of these tablets and a few more at my friend's office. These are all very nice tablets, but they all have some differences. The Wacom tablet has a lower pressure sensitivity (1024 levels) vs the Huion tablets which have a higher pressure sensitivity (2048 levels). Pressure sensitivity is basically meaning that pressure you put on a tablet will show (heavier streaks look darker, lighter look softer, etc). Here, higher levels = better. So I would eliminate the Wacom tablet, because it is less versitile.

Now we are down to the Huion H610 Pro and the Huion 1060 Pro+. This is tough because they are the same size and they have the same pressure sensitivity levels. Although the Pro+ is heavier by only a few grams, I would go with the Huion 1060 Pro+ because it has more function buttons. Also it is around the same price as the Huion H610 Pro.

When I used all three, the Wacom tablet felt very nice, but I just didn't like the feel of the pen on the surface, when the pen touched the Huion surfaces though, I "enjoyed it" a lot more. So overall, I would buy the Huion 1060 Pro+!

It is a very nice tablet so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 😀

Cheers!
