Here are the two laptops that I am choosing between:
(EDIT) Now looking, IDK if I should choose one of the Dell laptops, or maybe the Alienware laptop.

The one with i7 - it's considerably faster and supports hyperthreading where as the other one has an i5.
The first one comes with an SSD, but you can always upgrade the other one to an SSD later where as you can't change the CPU.

Um, are the 30$ for the i7 over the i5 worth it for you? The SSD is faster than the SSHD on the more expensive one, but an sshd is still really good and it's a 1tb of kinda fast sshd over a faster ssd.

You can add a higher capacity hard drive to the cheaper one and still keep the ssd but will have to remove the hdd if you want an ssd on the other one.
