I am building a PC and I have two SSDs that I am considering to use as the OS drive, Samsung 960 EVO 250GB(TLC) and Crucial P1 500GB(QLC).

Which one do you think is the better choice for the OS drive ?

I want to buy a 4TB SSD but it comes in different configurations like different controllers etc...Is there a tool that can identify the controller and NAND chips of the SSD ?

I think a little more info about what you're using your computer for will be helpful.

I.e. Only for gaming? Have a need to store large multimedia files, like images and videos? And if yes, you have a specific use-case that make a regular hard drive inadequate for you?
