Which one should i get?

I have an i5 4690k and I was going to get a GTX 970 to accompany it, and then I just came into some money and was like "Hey, I have enough money to buy a 980" so I guess my question is, should I spend the extra money on 980, or should I get the 970 and spend the extra money on some Case fans, More ram, a better CPU cooler, and a better monitor?

If you have already 8GB ram go for 980, or better wait few weeks * AMD will release new GPU prices will drop and you buy 980 cheaper

Well, I would say 970 + perifs and whatever else, but before I go ahead and suggest that, what is your current setup?

The 980 isnt that much better than a 970, so at close to double the price, it just isnt worth it over getting better other stuff for your computer.


BTW, good choice on a cpu ;D

RAM:8gb G Skill
750w PSU

I say wait for the AMD 390x. Rumour has it, it will be releasing at the end of next month. It has new fast memory technology.
