Which one would suit me more? AMD vs Intel

I am unable to use pcpicker and am unable to get cpu's like Xeon. Lets say that I'll be using Firefox, Unreal Engine 4 Dev kit, Skype and maybe sometimes Photoshop too, which one of these would better suite it?
The Intel set up is actually £10 over my budget so I'm quite reluctant to get this one. Especially since I have an unbranded PSU and single channel ram. The AMD might have an advantage when considering that the next generation of consoles will be utilizing multiple cores.

Also, I plan on doing some gaming too, would these GPU's suffice? Or should I tone down the cpu in favor of the 2GB TI. I've been getting some really mixed messages when it comes to AMD vs Intel.

Intel CPUs do have an advantage over AMD CPUs in terms of gaming, otherwise, the AMD FX 8350BE would do all the other things that you have listed, just as well, if not better. On the other hand, I'd much rather take the AMD CPU with a Corsair PSU then risk using an unbranded PSU, even if it comes with an i5.

The Ti version of the 750 is certainly more powerful than the plain 750, and if you plan on gaming at 1080p then the Ti would certainly be better. If you're planning to game at below 1080p then the plain 750 would be a more sound choice.

I would go for the AMD in case of your productivity uses, and get the 750 ti 2gb with that extra money.

For the intel build you should drop the k series CPU. There's no need as you're getting a H81 motherboard and won't be able to overclock anyway. Instead look at a 4570 or 4670.

That should allow you to get a branded PSU, or 2x4gb RAM. The PSU would be the priority though.

If that allows you to do those things then take the intel build. If not, take the FX.

Yes, to both your questions. Considering the snail's pace at which CPU power is growing these days, that i5 could easily last 3-4 years.

ONE MORE QUESTION! I can get the I5 4570 with the GTX 750 TI 2GB but I won't be able to upgrade the gpu any further in the future. Should I sacrifice the gpu for the lower 750 1gb and upgrade it later?
I would be able to get both the decent MOBO and TI 2GB but that would mean having a non-branded PSU which I'm uncomfortable with. Also, the better mobo but inferior GPU option would allow me to get the PC tower with two fans in. Would love that.

With two modules running in tandem, the system can access them both simultaneously (referred to as "dual-channel"), effectively doubling the memory bandwidth. It isn't integral per se, but having 2x4GB instead of 1x8GB would certainly improve your system's response time, and give you perhaps 5%-10% more frames per second(FPS) in games.
