Both are similar builds in my opinion. I think it mostly depends on game and technology used into that game. Mostly if you see Nvidia logo it should perform better on Nvidia cards (you would also have more features). Nvidia also releases updates the same time with new AAA games while Radeon releases them later but sometimes performs better.
