Does anyone know which one would be better for a high tier pc?

• Corsair RM 1000x

Apply the calculators as well -allow extra wattage for future growth in power demands. Do not buy a cheap PSU.

Both are excellent power supplies. If they are both 'new', your peak draw is under 800W, and the cost is similar between the two, go with the AX.

Both are highly regarded with 5 year warranties.

My thought is if you are looking for top quality, look for a psu with a 10 year warranty.

AX850 is discontinued for a reason so RMx is better.

The text for the AX750 says 10 years, but the warranty info says 5 years:

Umm.. More like Newegg needs to clear that up. That's Newegg's website. The information is correct on Corsair's website.
