I talked to a rep and he was telling me that the separate tanks may not be
worth while since the print heads need to be replaced every second or third
time. I was torn between a canon I9900 and a hp CP 1700. Any truth about
the print head and which one is better since they both cost about the same.
Will do photos but also text and print web pages

That rep is an IDIOT. Absolutely no truth to what you were told. Go with the
Canon.
