Which processor that better to upgrade

i have core i3 3220 and i want to upgrade it to a quad core. so what i want to asked, is it worth to upgrade it to i5 3330, or to i5 4440? but if i upgrade it to i5 4440 i need new motherboard ryte?,

so will the upgrade to i5 3330 will be worth for few years ? or i just buy new i5 4440

Check if your motherboard has the i5 3330 on the CPU support list. If so upgrade to it if you need a more powerful cpu. The 4440 will have a 5-10% max performance gain over the i5 3330 so it's not worth buying a new motherboard for it.

i would get i5 3570(K) and thus avoid purchase of new motherboard

i've already checked my MB cpu support list and its supported it, and maybe i'll stick my choice to i5 3340, cause i5 3330 is already sold
