[SOLVED] Which PSU cables do I buy

Solution
I bought a Corsair power supply, but the stock cables don’t bend very well and just look out of place, and I’m having trouble finding new cables to buy to replace them.

The only reason to replace the cables is if you wish for different colors then you go to cable mod or amazon and get cables for your specific power supply. Stiff cables are no reason to replace them you can bend past the position you wish them to be in and they do fairly good from that.

If your on the cheap then extensions do work just buy decent ones and again only if you desire different colors from the original. You can ask 100 people about using extensions and get...
Do be very careful about mixing/matching/extending PSU cables.

A mismatch may not end well....

My recommendation is to use the supplied/stock cables.

Gently flex them some to loosen up the stiffness and then route them as best you.

Do not be concerned about the cables looking out of place.

Saves some money as well.

EDIT you could actually break that down to I have X gauge wire with X length and going to add X gauge wires on a X length extension. Most of the time this is not a problem unless your dropping down on the gauge of the wire or adding like a couple foot to it.

They are exceptions on some power supplies that already come with cheap under gauged wires but on quality units this is usually nothing to even consider as a problem.

Example.
