After finding out my current PSU is a load of crap (Alpine Red 650w 36amp PSU) and is most likely to be causing my computer cut outs i am looking for another PSU.

RIG:
Gigabyte AMD 78LMT-USB3
DDR3 RAM x2
FX-8320 - Hyper 212 EVO
GTX 760

Here is what i have at the moment:
(Im not sure the difference on the Corsair PSU's except the wires can be attached at your will.)

Thank you for the reply, i believe my computer needs at least 40 amps.
Would this have the right amps as i cant figure if it does.

Would you suggest getting it new rather than second hand?

Thank you for the recommendation i will be getting that PSU.
I can only seem to buy it for 49£ new.

The second hand one is £40:
I bought this power supply when making a high spec gaming pc with a single high end graphics card. About two weeks later i decided to get another 7970 graphics card and bought another psu to make sure i had aqueate power to cover this. This psu wasnt used very much, probably only about 4 hours to set up the pc. Then saw a special offer on graphics cards and took the opertunity to upgrade to a 850W psu.

The original psu comes with a 5 year warranty, theres probally around 4 years 2 months left on it. I never registered the PSU so you should be able to register it with the recipet i'll provide to put the PSU in your name.

to clarify condition: bought new in UK in May 2013, with 5 year warranty which isnt registered yet. sat unused for approx 8 months. now that I am selling, I thought it would be best to make sure it works fine before selling.

has over 4 years and 3 months of XFX warranty left (receipt supplied from original purchase to enable any claims if needed in future)

comes in original undamaged packaging, including manual, original receipt with warranty info, mounting screws and unused mains cable

due to the large number of cables, it is best suited (in my opinion) for medium (?mid-tower) or larger cases; though it will fit in smaller mini-towers, the unused cables may take up a lot of the empty space in the case, impeding cooling of the whole PC!
it will NOT fit in 'small form factor' cases"

SO i would be able to get the warranty, he could be lying but if any of above was wrong i am protected by Ebay.

Ive tried a different browser seems to be working.
Is this power supply compatible with my graphics card as well as motherboard? (Connectors etc)
Thank you for all your help

I just checked out Blackbird and it comes to 53£ :/ so the cheapest is the 49£ new of Ebay or 40£ second hand.
My budget does cover this but i want a SSD 😛 totally agree misanthropiae this is my first build so i went wrong in two places which was my motherboard wasnt the right TDP for my cpu and my power supply was a load of crap.

Beginner mistakes 😛
