Which PSU is better?

That list is based on the old HCG Bronze lineup, which is pretty dated at this point. The old variants were 620W etc, not 50's.

Should be this one we're talking about?

That's a quality PSU, Seasonic made on the Focus+ platform.
(750W review, but there's no change in OEM for the 650W unit)

Absolutely a better call than the CX650M. While the CX isn't "bad", the HCG is a better quality unit, better efficiency rating & double the warranty length (10 vs 5 years).

Strangely though, the HCG-Gold PSUs were launched at higher pricepoints than the base Focus+ Gold units.... so I'd maybe consider one of those instead, if pricing is similar.

The TX650M is a good unit - especially for the price.

If either the HCG650 or Focus+Gold 650W is cheaper (or within a couple of $), it's probably not worth it though.

They look to be the same price (in the US at least) before rebates......

If you're ok with going through the rebate process, the $20 you'd save is probably "worth it".... but if you just want to spend X and not deal with the rebate process, I'd still opt for the Focus+

I know, that's why I'm asking.

Asking if the TX650M is better than the HCG650W..... you stated you'd opt for the TX650M and I'm just curios as to your rationale behind that choice?
