the 520w version will still work but since you're using r9 280x i'm more confortable recomending the 620w version

IS Corsair VS650W powersupply not good for this build ?

VS series is not that great. Corsair does NOT make power supplies! The good quality psus that Corsair SELL are made by Seasonic. You've made a high performance gaming PC, don't you want iit to be fueled by a high quality PSU that is stable and reliable?

Btw the 620 seasonic psu can output 750w i'm sure that VS650W cannot!

Stay with the 620 watts Seasonic as other posters have suggested.
