Which PSU would be better?

Im currently looking into buying a new psu at the moment, however im kinda torn between the

Cooler Master V650 - Compact 650W 80 PLUS Gold:

or are they both equal in quality?

Both are high quality units. I would go with the Seasonic since it is fully not semimodular, and is cheaper and has more watts.

CPU: fx8320
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce gt740 2gb
Ram: 6gb
HDD: 2.5TB

And what im looking to upgrade in the future
Ram: to 8gb
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Windforce 3X OC 4gb

Well the choices you have listed as upgrades will give you a good boost. I second! In that case, go for a 600W psu and save some money. Also can you confirm that your RAM configuration? Are you running a dual or a triple channel?

Cause you now have 6GB (which is probably 1x6GB). If you add another 2GB then you will end up having RAM incompatibility issues. Your RAM sticks must always be identical in terms of performance in order to avoid downgrading to lowest speeds.

Yeah that's what I would suggest you do. Buy a new set of ram sticks. Corsair vengeance, GSkill Ripjaws and Kingston Hyper X are the top brands, with Corsair being my favourite.
