Greetings, i was looking to increase my RAM memory i have a pretty old PC that i am looking forward to upgrade in the future but i needed to increase some memory for gaming, the memory is DDR3 so i am looking at two options:
-Crucial 8GB DDR3 1600 which is CL11 and 12$
-Hyperx fury DDR3 1600 which is CL10 and 19$ and i have another one installed in my pc
note: i am just looking to increase memory i know the performance between both of them isnt going to be huge in gaming so i am not sure whether to go with the cheapest or with what will look better, also i don't know if buying the same model as the one i got will do anything with performance
Thank you.

Got links to both ram kits? Make and model of your motherboard and the processor paired with said motherboard? Also, while here, can you check and see what your motherboard BIOS is at this moment of time?

What rams are you working with now? If you're looking to mix and match sticks of ram, please top and look into a ram kit.

If you own a single stick of HyperX ram, of the same specs(literally down to the frequency, timings and voltage, perhaps color) then yes that's the no brainer option to get. Like I said, mixing and matching ram sticks will affect performance, much like how wearing two different sized shoes will make you uncomfortable. If you're in doubt as am I, I'd try and look into a ram kit from either HyperX or Crucial, then sell the single stick of ram or hold onto it for troubleshooting moments. Tight ram timings will also help with gaming performance(frames per second).

Speaking of tight timings, the HyperX is 10 while Crucial's is 10, I'd pick the one with the lower number on any given day between those two but I'd also try and see if I could get a ram kit with CL9 or lower timings(similar to Mushkin's Redline series).

Before you drop in the rams, make sure you're on the latest BIOS version.
