[SOLVED] Which ram speed for i5 8400?

Hi folks
Im going to buy i5 8400 with TUF h370 and 1060 O6gb
I haven't decided on ram yet.
some guys telling me that I had better buy 2x8gb Hyperx 3000mhz cl15. the speed will reduce to 2133.
Should I change it to 2666 or let it runs at 2133?
or is it better to buy 2x8 gb 2666 rams?
I just want to do some games , sometimes AfterEffect (not so heavy rendering)

Memory speed only affects certain games, and even in those titles it doesn't make a huge difference. Go with what you can afford, obviously faster is better overall, but your system won't die if you use 2133.

Again, for games, it really doesn't make a huge difference either way, but higher speed makes more difference than the latency.

The motherboard only supports up to 2666mhz so even if you drop in 3000mhz it will only run at 2666mhz.
